Founder and CEO

Mike’s purpose in founding Global Expat Pay is to deliver an innovative and cost-effective way to simplify global mobility data and payments. This in turn digitises the whole global mobility operating model and eliminates the major causes of inefficiency and cost.

He is passionate about unlocking value for his customers and has brought together a team of people whose combined experience and skillset combines a deep knowledge of global mobility operations with how to apply leading edge technologies to transform the way mobility teams function. There has been lots of focus on the strategic reasons for global mobility programmes but hardly any on how to enable the operations to in turn deliver these talent and strategic outcomes. Simplification of global mobility data and payments is a critical step to eliminate operational time, external cost and make the assignee experience frictionless. This switches on actionable insight and strategic value. Mike’s mission is to bring this to life for all customers.

Before Global Expat Pay, Mike has accumulated over 30 years’ experience in the global mobility area as well as being an assignee himself under a variety of policies and locations. He has worked with many of the largest global mobility programmes across the automotive, pharmaceutical, consumer products, telecommunication and financial services sectors.

Andrew McQuarrie
Customer Success Lead

Andy is responsible for operational efficiency and continuous improvement at Global Expat Pay.  When we make service delivery commitments to customers, Andy makes sure they are met in full.

Andy is dedicated to optimising processes and technology integrations to provide customers with a clear, comprehensive but simple payroll solution.  He loves working with customers and partners to integrate best practices and preferences to bring meaningful structure to our service delivery models.

Andy joined Global Expat Pay in June 2023 with a rich and extensive Global Mobility experience of earned over more than 30 years in the sector.  Originally trained in expatriate tax in London and New York, Andy moved to Australia where he moved into an operational role to standardise processes to establish consistent and efficient delivery processes, including the use of smart technology, automation and offshoring.  He led the Continuous Improvement team in Asia Pacific to apply learnings from his success in Australia to other country practices in the region.  Recently returned to the UK with his family, he is excited about applying his knowledge back in the local market and helping to drive strategic customer solutions.

Mustafa Bharmal
Global Mobility Consulting Lead

Mustafa is responsible for supporting customers with improving their Global Mobility model. His focus is on helping identify opportunities, producing a plan, and bringing it to life in a short timeframe. Mustafa is an advocate for digitally enabled solutions that optimize mobility operations with the broader outcome of allowing global mobility teams to focus on strategic value-add business engagement.

Before joining Global Expat Pay, Mustafa has managed Global Mobility in large software and engineering multinationals for over 20 years. He has first-hand experience of partnering with global leaders to deliver mobility solutions to meet business objectives. Mustafa has leveraged technology solutions to shape global mobility strategy and optimize operational processes. Mustafa also has deep experience in non-traditional mobility programs, especially the international deployment of project workers and related immigration and tax requirements.

Steve Randall
Head of Product

As Head of Product, Steve owns the strategy behind the product’s continuous development. He marries technical, security, and business requirements with leadership of the software development, delivery, and operations of our platforms to deliver an enterprise class product.

His thirst for knowledge on the future of technology allows him to drive forward-thinking development of the Global Expat Pay product. He really gets a kick from applying his extensive technical skills to bring valued features and benefits to our customers. Steve is innovative at heart and is always looking ahead; he enjoys applying new tech and approaches to real customer problems in the Global Mobility area.

Steve is an experienced IT professional and had acquired a multifaceted set of skills across software development, system operations, and leadership over his career.

Fatih Aslantas
Technical Lead and Architect

Fatih is an experienced Tech Lead with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. With over 13 years of dedicated focus on supporting large-scale software systems, he brings a wealth of expertise in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of various internet-based applications.

Fatih possesses a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and has extensive experience in team management using Agile methodology. He is a supportive and enthusiastic team player dedicated to streamlining processes and efficiently resolving project issues.

A strong engineering professional, Fatih holds a B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering. He has a solid technical foundation to assist in making the best decisions for the project.

Rohan Kumar
Intern

Rohan recently joined Global Expat Pay, bringing a passion for data-driven problem-solving and a commitment to enhancing the global mobility experience. He holds a master’s degree in Management from the University of Leeds, where he developed a strong foundation in data analytics, customer success strategies, and project management.

Before joining Global Expat Pay, Rohan worked on tax data compliance, performance reporting, and regulatory alignment—gaining hands-on experience in high-stakes environments. His involvement in high-impact academic projects further sharpened his skills in financial modelling, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency.

At Global Expat Pay, Rohan is excited to contribute to client onboarding, streamlinev customer experiences, and support process optimisation initiatives. Known for his analytical mindset and collaborative approach, he is eager to grow within a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the global mobility space.

Fay Bradley Trinder
Senior Customer Success Manager

Fay is part of the customer success team, helping to bring the Global Expat Pay solution to life.  Fay has over 11 years of experience in the Global Mobility world translating complex mobility challenges. She works with stakeholders understanding that everyone has different challenges and priorities, all wanting the same positive outcome. Building relationships is a priority and Fay believes this is key to having a successful mobility programme. With the world being technology led, Fay wants organisations to focus on automating compliance tasks allowing the team to focus their time creating an efficient and strategic mobility function.

Before Global Expat Pay, Fay had just returned from a few years in the Middle East. Mobility is all Fay has ever known and she has helped various organisations ranging from first time mobility programme implementations, vendor selection, provider changes to experienced organisations wanting to challenge and transform their current models. Fay has experience in all aspects of mobility ranging from policy support, immigration, tax and of course her favourite payroll.

Senior Customer Success Manager

As a part of customer success team, Hien’s purpose is to support customers to understand their business challenges and deliver solutions by applying Global Expat Pay’s capabilities to transform and streamline their business processes. With over 12 years of experience in the Global Mobility industry, Hien understands the complex mobility challenges and her passion is to build strong partnerships with customers by implementing simplified and automated solutions to their operational models.

Before joining Global Expat Pay, Hien worked for a relocation service provider where she established strong relationships with various customers and supported the deliveries of complex mobility programs through insightful account management, policy and process improvement initiatives and people management.

Customer Success Manager

Chinelo is an experienced professional in the field of global mobility, bringing over a decade of expertise to her role as a Customer Success Manager in the Global Expat Pay team. Her primary responsibility is to collaborate with clients, assisting them in resolving their global mobility challenges and maximising the benefits of global mobility for customers and their employees.

Chinelo’s diverse background encompasses various aspects of global mobility, including tax, payroll, compliance, and overall global mobility management. She has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria, gaining extensive knowledge and insights into the intricacies of global mobility within different organisational contexts.

Having personally encountered the challenges associated with mobility, Chinelo is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes to her customers. As a Customer Success Consultant, Ishita’s role encompasses successful client onboarding and delivery, understanding customer challenges and applying Global Expat Pay’ capabilities to transform customer processes. Ishita believes that every customer has a different set of challenges and priorities and hence every solution is tailor-made. Ishita values constructive communication, punctuality and resilience.

Prior to joining the Global Expat Pay family, Ishita has worked with manufacturing, IT services and background verification companies, helping them to restructure processes, elevating employer branding, integrating, and mapping employees post entity mergers and acquisitions. With an academic background in Management Psychology and half a decade of professional background into core compensation and talent management projects, Ishita brings in a plethora of experience to delve into global mobility and serve customers with nothing but excellence.

Thomas is an experienced QA engineer working closely with our development team to maximise development efficiency whilst providing excellent oversight of product quality. Thomas graduated with a BSc before finding himself in the software industry, working up from software tester to quality assurance engineer. With experience leading QA operations on high-value projects, Thomas has a proven track record of delivering reliable results and strengthening production delivery.

Acting as the bridge between the holistic needs of fulfilment and the technical expertise of development, Thomas takes a realistic response to reporting, refining, implementing and testing solutions. User experience drives his ethos for quality in every action, from dictating QA procedure to instructing and signing off improvements.

Cameron Moffat
Finance Manager

Cameron is an experienced professional in finance, bringing over 7 years experience to his role as Finance Manager. He joined Global Expat Pay soon after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, and specialises in management accounting, tax and finance automation. Cameron is responsible for managing the day-to-day finances at Global Expat Pay, and works closely with all teams to ensure that the finance function is well aligned with the company’s vision.
